Hi, I’m Iwona Gerner.

I am a licensed psychotherapist over twenty years of experience supporting women through significant life transitions.

My work became personal when perimenopause began affecting my own sleep, energy, thinking, emotions, relationships, and daily life. Understanding that hormones were involved gave me part of the explanation, but it did not answer the question that mattered most:

What do I do now?

That question shaped Balance Through Menopause.

Today, my work brings together menopause biology, nervous-system science, clinical experience, and practical body-based support to help women sleep better, feel steadier, rebuild their energy, and move through this transition with greater clarity and confidence.

I think of this as closing the “now what?” gap—the space between knowing that changes are happening and understanding how to support yourself within them.

Because knowing hormones are involved is only the beginning.
